Dr. Do Young holds an MSc in International Planning from the Bartlett School of Planning at University College London and a BSc in Architectural Engineering from Yonsei University, South Korea. Prior to joining the PhD programme at the LSE in 2013, Do Young worked in both the public and private sectors. His professional experience includes positions as a researcher for a Korean government-funded research institute and strategic consulting firms, a project manager for a real estate development firm, and an architectural designer for design firms in Korea and the US. He is also a co-founder of ONplan Lab, an urban planning consultancy. He is also responsible for the day-to-day running of SEAC. He oversees the Centre’s financial arrangements, the execution of events and research activities and external communication.
