Professor Park teaches at a unique graduate law school in Korea that prepares students in international practice with an American bar admission. He studied politics and music in college, then pursued his U.S. law degree, and began legal practice at a big firm in Washington DC for several years before entering public service as a career prosecutor. In 2013, he was invited by Korea’s Ministry of Justice and commissioned as a resident Special Prosecutor and Lecturer, and he worked closely with senior prosecutors on a wide range of key issues and initiatives facing Korean prosecution. He subsequently made a transition into academia. Professor Park with over two decades of legal experience lectures frequently at leading law schools, government institutions, academic forums and international conferences, and is often published and broadcast in diverse print and media outlets in Asia. He is also very active in legal capacity building projects in Mongolia, Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam.
