Paul Carver has just come off a five-year stint working for Seoul Metropolitan Government heading up a network of global centres providing various support programmes for Seoul’s 400,000 plus long-term foreign residents. He was heavily involved in devising and implementing policies to help foreign residents deal with the turmoil of the past 12 months. In addition, he does regular media appearances including having a monthly opinion column in a one of the main Korean dailies and an ongoing role on a youtube channel where foreigners discuss their opinion about life in Korea.
